I'VE TAKEN THIS TIME ON KATIE'S XANGA TO PROMOTE MY ART.
I think I killed the fire pot. No big booming voices, but just in case,
I would like to apologize, Lord, for not being in church on Sunday.
That is all. In other news, I have a shitload of homework due tomorrow, and no time to do it tonight, thanks to work. I guess that means I should be doing it now, so that I can try to get a head start on the theory project due on Friday. Agenda:
Finish analysis on big ass Bach song
Do three pages out of theory workbook
Read English presentations via the internet
Start on 16 bar chorale with all embellishments
Kill theory teacher for thinking that I have unlimited time
Go to work
Die
Have a great day everyone!
So, I wake up this morning and go into my living room to get a towel for the shower. I look outside as I walk past my sliding glass door, and it looks as if the planter with my calla lily bulbs is steaming. I opened the door to check it out and I smell this burning earthy scent, much like a peat fire. I bend down to the pot and touch the dirt and it's burning hot. The bowl of dirt was burning, without any flame. So, I run into the house and grab a couple of glasses full of water and run to douse the pot. This huge, brown, muggy plume of smoke rushes up, surrounding me and making me smell like gluck. The smell is still permeating my hair. But how weird is that?
WEIRD.
No, Rachel, you are the best. I'm going to miss you again. A lot. I'll make sure to find a way to get up there, and SOON. How are you so cool?
I had an amazing time hanging with my Rachie. Got a purple plaid turtleneck from St. Vinny's that totally rocks. Anyway. I don't have much to post about, Spring Break being mostly void of stimulation. I don't have to work for the rest of the week (excepting tonight) since I decided to take a few Katie days off. I guess I'll be talking to you all later. Peace out yo.
Goodnight my lovelies. Tomorrow is my fondue party, and I hope all goes well. Katie D. didn't show up for the grocery expedition, so we did what we could with as little funds as we had. And I realized that I need one more important little thing... fondue pot fuel. Ah well, I'll see about that tomorrow. Have a wonderful night.
